RIDGEBACK RANCH GENERAL RULES
● All hunters are required to have “Basic Hunter Safety” certification.
● All hunters are required to wear “hunter orange” while hunting.
● Please drive directly to and from your blind only. No one wants to “blow up” anyone
else’s hunt.
● All hunters will adhere to the “3 round” rule. No more than 3 rounds in their weapon.
(Except for sidearms) Bring as much ammo as needed into the field.
● Please DO NOT load your weapon until you’re in the blind and seated.
● All hunters will carry out all trash, shell casings, water bottles, etc. Always leave the
place better than you found it. We work hard to keep Ridgeback Ranch in pristine
condition. Your help is appreciated.
● All hunters will report any animal that is shot. Not doing so is poaching. All instances of
poaching are reported to the Game Warden. NO EXCEPTIONS.
● All hunters will adhere to shooting lanes specific to their blind. This is a safety issue.
Safety is our FIRST PRIORITY!
● Please make sure to identify the animal you’re harvesting. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY ANIMAL HARVESTED, INTENDED OR OTHERWISE.
● If you wound an animal and it runs off, call staff immediately. DO NOT TRACK YOUR
OWN ANIMAL. This is again, FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS.
● THERE IS TO BE NO CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL UNTIL ALL HUNTING ACTIVITIES HAVE CONCLUDED!! FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN
REMOVAL FROM THE RANCH!!
